Participants in a Revelation Breathwork® session are assumed to be sufficiently informed and aware of any risks associated with this type of breathwork.

The breathing technique used in Revelation Breathwork® means that there are contra-indications: physical and psychological conditions in which it is inadvisable to take part in this type of breathwork.
These include, in particular, cardiovascular diseases (including angina or heart attack), high blood pressure, glaucoma, retinal detachment, osteoporosis, significant recent physical injuries or surgeries.
Revelation Breathwork® is not recommended for people with severe mental illness or epileptic seizures, people with a personal or family history of aneurysms, or people taking many medications.
Pregnant women are not advised to practice Revelation Breathwork® without first consulting and getting approval from their GP. Persons with asthma should bring their inhaler and consult with their GP and the Coach or facilitator of the Revelation Breathwork® session.
In consideration of the risk of injury during participation in Revelation Breathwork® (the “Activity”), and in consideration of the right to participate in the Activity, the participant, for themselves, their heirs, executors, administrators, assigns or personal representatives, knowingly and voluntarily enters into the following waiver and release from liability.
They thereby waive all rights, claims or causes of action of any kind arising from their participation in the Activity and they thereby release the Coach (Lies Boonen – FrikUnik), her affiliates, managers, agents, staff, volunteers, heirs, representatives, predecessors, successors and assigns, from liability for any physical or psychological injury.
The participant takes part in the above Activity voluntarily and entirely at his/her own risk. They confirm that they have been informed of what the contra-indications to participation in the Activity are. They are aware of the risks associated with participation in this Activity.
These risks may include, but are not limited to, physical or psychological injury, pain, suffering, illness, disfigurement, temporary or permanent disability (including paralysis), economic or emotional loss and death. The participant understands that these injuries or consequences may result from their own negligence or that of others, or from the condition of the location(s) of the Activity. Nevertheless, they accept all related risks, both known and unknown to them, of their participation in this Activity.
The participant agrees to indemnify and hold the Coach (Lies Boonen – FrikUnik) harmless from and against any claims, suits or actions of any kind for liability, damages, compensation or otherwise brought by them or anyone else on their behalf, including attorney’s fees and any related costs, if a lawsuit arises as a result of claims made by them or anyone else acting on their behalf.
If the Coach (Lies Boonen – FrikUnik) incurs any such costs, the participant agrees to reimburse the Coach (Lies Boonen – FrikUnik). Insofar as the law or case law does not prohibit indemnification for negligence, this indemnification also applies to negligence by the Coach (Lies Boonen – FrikUnik) and her agents and employees.
Participation in Revelation Breathwork® is possible from 18 years or older. The participant in the Activity declares by their participation, to have read the above information and to fully understand its content. They are aware that this is a release of liability and a contract and that they enter into it of their own free will. They also understand that this indemnity cannot be changed verbally.
