This text tells you which personal data I collect, why I do so and what your rights are. This privacy statement applies to the use of the website and the (resulting) services provided by FrikUnik.
When you consult the web pages, certain personal data, such as IP addresses and cookies, are processed automatically to ensure the proper functioning and security of the website (legitimate interest). I also process personal data to analyse the use of my website. You can find more info on this in the cookie policy.
When you contact me or book a coaching, workshop or facilitation, I collect only the data necessary for a good service, such as:
This data is never shared with third parties without your permission, other than to meet accounting and other administrative obligations. These third parties are all bound to confidentiality by virtue of the agreement between them and FrikUnik or an oath or legal obligation.
Where appropriate, FrikUnik may be required by law to share your data in connection with government tax or criminal investigations. In such a case, I am forced to share your data, but will oppose this within the possibilities afforded to me by law.

The purpose of processing your data is therefore always directly related to the service I provide, the agreement we have between us or the operation of FrikUnik.
If you share data with me and I use these data to contact you – other than at your request – at a later time, I will ask you explicitly for permission to do so. I will therefore not use your data for (targeted) marketing, unless you consent.
When you visit my website, complete a web form on the site, open or click on emails I send you, or otherwise interact with FrikUnik services or advertisements, I, or third parties with whom I work or whose services I use, may automatically collect certain information using online tracking technologies such as pixels, web beacons, software developer kits, third-party libraries and cookies. Any information collected in this way will be treated in accordance with this privacy policy and cookie policy.
My website is hosted by Hostinger. Hostinger processes your personal data for this purpose, but does not use your data for its own purposes. However, this party may collect metadata on the use of the services. This is not personal data. Hostinger has taken appropriate technical and organisational measures to prevent loss and unauthorised use of your personal data. Hostinger is bound to secrecy under the agreement.
I use Gmail as an e-mail system, Calendar from Google to reserve appointments in my calendar and have a company profile via a Google account to collect reviews. Google processes your personal data for this purpose, but does not use your data for its own purposes. However, this party may collect metadata on the use of the services. This is not personal data. Google has taken appropriate technical and organisational measures to prevent the loss and unauthorised use of your personal data. Google has its own privacy policy for this purpose.
I use Dexxter’s services to keep my records and accounts. When I prepare a sales invoice for you, I share your name, address and city details and details relating to your order. This data is used to administer the invoices. Your personal data is transmitted and stored in a protected way. Dexxter is obliged to keep your data confidential. Dexxter will not use your personal data for purposes other than those described above.
I use Calendly to give you access to my calendar and to schedule an introductory meeting. Calendly processes your personal data for this purpose, but does not use your data for its own purposes. However, this party may collect metadata on the use of the services. These are not personal data. Calendly has taken appropriate technical and organisational measures to prevent the loss and unauthorised use of your personal data. Calendly applies its own privacy policy to this end.
My website also contains links to websites not operated by FrikUnik (e.g. social media, third-party partners, etc.). If you click through to them, these sites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking and monitor your interaction with this embedded content. These other websites, when you click through to them, are responsible for the processing of personal data that occurs on them. I recommend that you always consult the applicable privacy policy.
If third-party software solutions on the FrikUnik website use cookies themselves, this is stated in the cookie policy.
I do not keep your data for longer than necessary. As long as you are a customer of mine, I keep your data. This means that I keep your customer profile until you indicate that you no longer wish to use my services. If you make this known, I will also interpret it as a forgetting request.
Pursuant to applicable administrative obligations, I have to keep invoices containing your (personal) data. I will therefore keep this data for as long as the applicable term runs. Therapeutic data are also kept according to the legal retention periods. However, FrikUnik employees no longer have access to this data, your client profile or documents we have produced as a result of an agreement.
I take appropriate measures to prevent abuse, loss, unauthorised access and other unwanted actions with your personal data. To this end, I implement appropriate technical and organisational measures so that the processing meets the requirements of national and European legislation.
However, please note that no security measure is perfect or impenetrable and that I cannot guarantee “perfect security”. In case of an unforeseen incident involving your personal data, I will always inform you in accordance with legal provisions.
Under the applicable Belgian and European legislation, as a data subject you have certain rights regarding the personal data processed by or on behalf of me.

Please note that your personal data may be transferred, stored and processed outside your country of residence. Your personal data may also be processed by staff and external service providers and partners in these countries.
If you have a complaint about how I handle your data, I would like to hear from you. If you are not satisfied with my response to your complaint, you have the right to appeal my decision by contacting me using the contact details below, or to submit your complaint to the data protection supervisory authority.
This privacy policy may be updated from time to time, including if my operation changes, in case of changes in legislation or for other operational, legal or regulatory reasons. The publication of a new version will invalidate all previous versions. However, you will always find the most recent version on this page. The updated privacy policy appears on the website with the date under “Last updated”.
If the new privacy policy affects the way I process data already collected in relation to you, I will notify you by e-mail.
